Yonas and Merrhawi Law Firm LLP is the first law firm in Ethiopian history, founded in 2018 in Mekelle, Tigray Region, under Regional Proclamation 262/2015. Established by legal professionals Yonas Girmay and Merrhawi Legesse, the firm was created to provide comprehensive, high-quality legal services tailored to the evolving legal landscape of Ethiopia.
The firm holds both regional and federal licenses and has served numerous individuals, investors, NGOs, and domestic business organizations in administrative tribunals, regional, and federal courts.
